I missed the 10 year reunion and went to the 20th and vowed not to miss any, if at all possible, after that. It was really wonderful to see everyone and it made me a bit homesick. I live in Riverdale, NY (basically, NYC - I still pay Manhattan taxes!). If anyone is in the area, or if you remember me and would like to say hello, please email me. I would love to hear from my CHS friends.

The reunion committee is doing such a fantastic job. Les, Mitzi, Mark, Chris and Lorra - I hope I didn’t leave anyone out - thanks so much for all you are doing. The events scheduled sound great and I am especially looking forward to seeing what the pep rallies and games are like these days. I miss hearing the band on the field and feeling all the excitement in the stadium. I hope everyone is planning on attending those events, the tailgate party and, of course the traditional events too!

25 years - that sure went fast! I can remember one homecoming, before the game, the cheerleaders went to Perri’s Italian Restaurant as a pregame celebration/tradition and all former cheerleaders were invited to attend. I don’t know if that tradition still exists, I was never in town to participate. At any rate, we had at least 15 former cheerleaders there - and some were former cheerleaders from what I thought were MANY years ago - well, the point is, if I were to go to that event now - I’d be considered the OLD cheerleader. Ouch - that hurts! When I think back to that night, there probably weren’t even any cheerleaders in attendance who had graduated even as far out as 20 years ago. Just goes to show you to be careful what you consider old because one day . . . . if you’re lucky . . . you’ll be that age!

Oh well, we’re young in spirit, right????
Take care everyone and please feel free to email me - I’m eager to reconnect with the class of ‘81.
