STEP 3
You should now be at the main Photo Gallery page.  On the page there is a Gallery with the name ALUMNI PHOTO ALBUMS and a menu item link called YOUR ALBUM, click on YOUR ALBUM menu item.

STEP 4
Your should be in your Allumni Gallery now so start building your gallery.

There are numerous options in the gallery that you can use to tweak and manipulate the setup and images.  The first time you enter your gallery you may want to RENAME your gallery as the default uses your login name.  Here I have renamed mine simply, Applegate’s Album, call it what ever you wish.

Click on the EDIT ALBUM menu item and you can rename your gallery among many other things.

Navigation around the gallery is fairly straight forward and there are always the BREAD CRUMBS NAVIGATION at the top right of the gallery page, just below the header image.

Just trying to decide if we are bringing the kids…I would need a great baby sitter if you have suggestions, let me know. We will be staying in the Sheraton. Have you heard from Pfeiffer aka Tracy now Tracy Brown? We have three kids: 12 Anna Lee, 9 Rachel and 5 David. We come every summer to FWB and can see why some of you settled there. It is still beautiful! I have my Indian band headress handy if you need it for the reunion.
Contact me via email lala@pdq.net or cell 713-705-0503!
Looking forward to seeing y’all!

Hi there everyone.  We have had some questions that have come in and I would like to do my best to answer them here.

1.  CAN WE GET A ROOM THUR NIGHT AT THE SHERATON 4 POINTS FOR THE SAME PRICE AT FRI & SAT ?

Our contact person for the Sheraton Four Points Resort is Peggy Moravec. We are event number 1355. The phone number for Peggy is 850-796-3815. Please do not contact Peggy personally for regular reservations.  Only contact her personally if you have special circumstances, such as needing an extra night.

2.  CAN WE SUGGEST THAT OUR ROOM BE NEXT TO A FRIEND’S ROOM?

If you want a room next to a friend, you need to do 2 things. (1)CALL NOW (2) When you call for reservations, let the operator know who you want to room next to.  Then when the person calls that you want to be next to, have them request the room next to you.  The hotel has assured us that they will make every attempt to accomodate your wishes.  The key to any special consideration is to make the request ASAP.  You can either call the Sheraton Reservation number at 1-800-874-8104 or you can call the Sheraton Four Points local number at 850-243-8116.  I would suggest calling the hotel’s local number directly for a request of this nature.

3.  CAN WE BRING OUR CHILDREN TO THE FOOTBALL GAME?

Our children are certainly invited to come to the Friday night festivities before the football game.  The BBQ is for our FAMILIES and ourselves.  When you check in for the reunion, you and each paid guest will be given a name badge which will be your ticket for each event of the reunion. This badge is your football game ticket. If you bring your children Friday night, simply buy their football tickets at the gate before the game.

4. IF WE CAN’T COME TO THE REUNION, CAN WE PURCHASE THE MEMORABILIA FROM THE REUNION?

We really hope that EVERYONE can make the reunion, but we know that the likelihood of everyone’s schedule working out with our date and time is slim to none.  If you cannot make it to the weeked, we would be happy to order extra T-Shirts and CD’s for you.  We just need to know beforehand so that we know the right number to order.  The absolute cost of each shirt and DVD has not been determined yet, but we believe that each will run around $10.00-$15.00.  If you want the memorabilia, please let us know ASAP so that we can order it.

5. IS THERE SOMEWHERE THAT WE CAN SEE WHAT THE T-SHIRT LOOKS LIKE?

The T-Shirt design has not yet been selected.  We are doing our best to decide on a “slogan” for the shirt and this is something that we would like to “suprise” you with on Friday. So, if you want a T-shirt and cannot come to the reunion, you just have to take it on “faith” and know that we are doing all that we can to please as many people as possible.

6. ARE YOU GOING TO PUBLISH A LIST OF PEOPLE ATTENDING THE REUNION BEFOREHAND?

There are 2 schools of thought on this question. On one hand, we would love to publish a list of names of people who have paid us and are committed to the weekend.  On the other hand, there is a question of security as to whether or not it is wise to publish a list of people who will be leaving their homes for a weekend on the internet.  This is a question that could use some feedback.  Maybe you could blog and let us know your thoughts on the matter.

7.  HOW MUCH LONGER DO WE HAVE TO SEND IN OUR REGISTRATION?

The answer that I would like to give would be, “SEND IT IN NOW!” I think I have made it clear how important early registration is to the planning process.  The best thing that you could do for the Reunion Committee would be to put the paper in the mail TODAY!  The actual deadline for registration is August 24, 2006.  This date is approaching quickly, so please get in touch today!

Hello to you as an alumni of the Choctawhatchee High School Class of 1981.  Yes, 25 Years have actually passed and our reunion is approaching at a very fast pace.
Tomorrow will start a new month.  July will begin and be gone before you know it.  We know that everyone has busy lives, but please take a moment to stop and send in your reunion paperwork and payment before any more time slips away.  We are required to begin firming things up with vendors and the entertainment for which deposits and payments must be made.  Please do us a favor and pay us so that we can pay them.
Send checks to:
Choctaw Class of 1981 Reunion Committee
P.O. Box 176
Ft. Walton Beach, FL  32549-0176
It is not easy being the one who has to bring up the business portion of the program, so please help us out by stepping up to the plate and committing to the weekend NOW.  It is very hard to make plans without FIRM commitments.  I can say that we have a healthy list of “Committed Indians” and I would like to thank those of you who have already stepped up for doing so early.  The weekend of September 29th and 30th 2006 is going to be one that we will ALWAYS REMEMBER!!!!!

1 Everyone, let’s give Dale Applegate a BIG Thank You for finding a new home for our blog! He has really worked hard on transferring all the posts over and incorporating new pages. You can even pay for the event from the blog! There is also an itinery and posts are catagorized. Really really cool!

If you are using the blog for the first time, you have to register. It is very simple, just pick a user name and insert your e-mail. A password will be mailed to you. When you want to post, you must log-in thereafter. But if you click the “remember me” button and you can skip that step!

Let’s try the new and improved blog out everyone …

THANK YOU DALE!!

I can’t believe how fast things have come together - Hats off to the committee for everything they’re doing.

Leslie (Starkel CHS ‘82) and I are hoping to make it down. We’re trying to sort out our schedules.

We’ve been in Atlanta since we married 19 years ago. We have four wonderful children, Ian (16), Zach (15), Grace (10) and Casey (5) which has kept us busy to say the least. I’ve been with Coca-Cola for nearly 18 years - all good.

Hope to catch up with everyone in September.
Cheers,
Eric & Leslie Norden

ps - Kyle T - so sorry to hear about your daughter, I can only imagine how tough that must have been.

I missed the 10 year reunion and went to the 20th and vowed not to miss any, if at all possible, after that. It was really wonderful to see everyone and it made me a bit homesick. I live in Riverdale, NY (basically, NYC - I still pay Manhattan taxes!). If anyone is in the area, or if you remember me and would like to say hello, please email me. I would love to hear from my CHS friends.

The reunion committee is doing such a fantastic job. Les, Mitzi, Mark, Chris and Lorra - I hope I didn’t leave anyone out - thanks so much for all you are doing. The events scheduled sound great and I am especially looking forward to seeing what the pep rallies and games are like these days. I miss hearing the band on the field and feeling all the excitement in the stadium. I hope everyone is planning on attending those events, the tailgate party and, of course the traditional events too!

25 years - that sure went fast! I can remember one homecoming, before the game, the cheerleaders went to Perri’s Italian Restaurant as a pregame celebration/tradition and all former cheerleaders were invited to attend. I don’t know if that tradition still exists, I was never in town to participate. At any rate, we had at least 15 former cheerleaders there - and some were former cheerleaders from what I thought were MANY years ago - well, the point is, if I were to go to that event now - I’d be considered the OLD cheerleader. Ouch - that hurts! When I think back to that night, there probably weren’t even any cheerleaders in attendance who had graduated even as far out as 20 years ago. Just goes to show you to be careful what you consider old because one day . . . . if you’re lucky . . . you’ll be that age!

Oh well, we’re young in spirit, right????
Take care everyone and please feel free to email me - I’m eager to reconnect with the class of ‘81.
Terri
