Sounded like the attendance was good and everyone had a good time.  Unfortunately, I was also unable to attend due to a new job and very little vacation time built up yet.   I decided to retire from the AF after 20 years in the B-52 and see if I could make enough to send my kids to college (Scott 18 and Anna Kate 14).  I was impressed with the number of folks that where on the “planning to attend” list and was sorry I couldn’t make it.  I looked at the “then” pictures and it took me back to taking a lot of them for the yearbook and the fun times we all had staging some of the photos (Clark Harju and Karen Cofer pretending to do homework, Karen probably did, but I don’t remember Clark ever doing any).  I have not been the best with keeping up with folks and its been since high school for most, I hope to re-establish some and catch up on the news.   I hope everyone got home safe and I plan to attend the 30th in 2011.  My email is Dcrawfordbc@aol.com or Smdpslost@yahoo.com.

Hello everyone.  It sounds like the reunion was absolutely perfect!  Wonderful job to all of you who worked so hard to pull this off!  I am so sorry that I couldn’t attend.  I have enjoyed the website and the blog so much…really makes me miss those wonderful days on Racetrack Road!  I got my yearbooks out the other day, and despite all the snickering from my three sons (Derek-11; Adam 10 and Ethan 6) I enjoyed a few hours of quiet time just remembering!  We live outside of Boston now…anyone else in this area?  Drop me a note if you get a chance, I’d love to hear how everyone is doing Lgrammer@trinepharma.com.  I won’t miss the next one!

What a Reunion!!!  Whew!  I can`t begin to tell you how much fun I had seeing All of you! And Rita has it pegged…after so many years, I actually made a few friends who weren`t in my circle at school…..for instance, how many of you know Bill Dixon gets paid to be a bad guy? Yep, he wraps a towel around his head, all in the name of teaching our young soldiers to protect our country…..He could`ve told me more, but it`s all hush-hush!  I met lawyers, doctors, computer nerds, business owners, pilots,Contractors,(did I mention Lawers?), Mommy`s & Dad`s(BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN!!!)and a few realestate moguls! OH! And one really good-lookin`Massage Therapist!  My only regret was not having enough time to talk with everyone as long as I`d have liked too.  For the local classmates, I figured the chances of running into you are a bit greater than seeing  our traveling Indians!  That is sad, if you think about it, as even though we live within a few miles of each other, how often do we get a chance to hang out!?!?  Speaking of which, does everyone know that homecoming is next Fri…the last home game?
There seems to be an interest in the wind to have a Beach Party, within the next month, for a job well done.  I have access to a Beach-house that would be perfect…if you are interested, please contact me personally, and I`ll give you particulars.  It`s on the intracoastal(calm water), has a nice dock I built with a 36X16 upper-deck(awesome sunsets) with dock-slips for 10+ boats.  Navarre public boat-launch is but 8/9 minutes away. I know we`ll have a couple  jet-skis there, and more are welcome.   Since it`s a private home, I was thinking a  Bonfire might be nice in the evening?   The  tent would be up, and there are a couple grills.  Then there is the matter of a bunch of beer I need finished off!!

One last time, I`d like to thank Mitzi for just being awesome!  Somehow, with her business, managing a home and being a Mom, she found the time to polish all the rough edges for the Reunion!  If I told you how many hours she put into your Reunion, you would think I was kidding.  On reflection, you`d realize that I`m not, and see how truly dedicated she is to our class.  Little did she know when she offered her help in the beginning what was in store!!!! Hah!!!  Let`s not forget her family….Jeff and lovely Jessica(how `bout that voice!) helped stuff bags, called classmates, and helped with design for the Reunion!  Even 11 yr old Michael got to stay-up late a few nights stuffing bags!  A gentle young man who, if he ever figures out how big he is gonna be, could lead Choctaw to a State Title in football! Thanks to them all from the Class!!!!!

With all the wordy classmates we have, I am surprised the Blog isn`t getting more use!!!  Dale is working on making something special here on the site, where classmates can download pictures, as well as copy them onto their computer!

David is working on finishing the DVD to mail to the classmates.  We are awaiting your Reunion Pictures….PLEASE be prompt with that….They are to be sent to David Lambert at the address listed here.  WE ARE COUNTING ON YOU for these pictures!

Thank you all for coming! I can say with certainty, that I will never have so many sing Happy B`day again…Thank you!!!!
Sincerely,

Les Rollo Fagan      rollomon@yahoo.com

To Mitzi and Les, you guys deserve a standing ovation for putting on an outstanding event.  You have my sincerest gratitude.  And to think that I even entertained not going.  It was wonderful to see and talk to everyone again.  Especially those of us who grew up in Poquito Bayou. To Blake Kresl and Will Scott, I will never be able to look at a dill pickle again without laughing.  For all of you who look like you may have been cryogenically frozen, Diana Koch and I want to know who your cryogenicist is. To Lee Sowell, we have got to get a copy of the Patty Hearst video.  Cathy Hannah, I love you sweetie.  One of the most interesting things that happened at the reunion is talking to and getting to know the people I didn’t know in high school.  Laura Partin (keep on running girl), Bill Dixon (Let me know if Rocky Horror ever comes to town), and Lilli Forbrich (You have a special place in my heart).  You guys helped create some new memories along with the old and it was fun!  The whole experience reminded me that life was beautiful, life is beautiful, and life can be as beautiful as we make it.  My love to you all and thank you.

Sandy Peacock!! Please send me your contact information so that next time we find you in advance!

Thanks, Mitzi

This weekend was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.  I was absolutely overwhelmed by people expressing their gratitude for the work that Les and I had done to put things together.  Now I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for attending and making all of our efforts worth while.  I can tell you that I am humbled and grateful for the chance to help organize the “Still My Tribe After 25″ Reunion.  I thank God for giving me the time and opportunity to work with Les and all of the others on this project, but most of all, I thank each and every one of you for attending and enjoying yourselves so much.  I sure hope that if you were not fortunate enough to attend, you will join us next time.  You will never regret it!!!

Love to you all, Mitzi Risher Roth & Family

Just wanted to than Mitzi and Les again for a great reunion.  It was really nice seeing everyone.  I had a great time.

Hey class of 81!!!  I have had more fun reading about all of you.  I don’t usually spend much time on the computer, but I’m so happy to hear what all of you are doing these days.  I talked to Karl RenElt last night and we had so many laughs about “back in the day” as my kids call it.  I’m living in Arlington, Texas now, but hopefully we will return to Florida in the future - I really miss it.  David Kuenzel (class of 1980) and I celebrated being married for 25 years this past August.  Wow, that sounds like a long time.  We have three kids, David 22, Josh 20 and Haley 12.  The oldest two are in college, but Haley still keeps us busy.  I’m only working part time but somehow life stays hectic.  We won’t be able to make the reunion, but would love to hear from so many of guys.  Send an e-mail to mkuenzel608@comcast.net and I’ll be looking to hear from you!!  Have a great weekend and hopefully we will make it to the next one.

Just wanted to say…. Les, Mitzi, and all the people behind the scenes…. you all have done an awesome job in planning the Reunion! My wife and I are headed down to FWB in the morning. Does anyone know what time the Pep-Rally is being held? Can’t wait to see everyone!!!!!……

God Bless and PLEASE, EVERYONE drive carefully!
