A message from your hosts :
Well, here we go! Yet another 5 yrs of Wisdom we can tuck in our pocket! I thought we might not pull this off this year, but everything has fallen into place and it should be an event to remember! The thing for everyone to keep in mind is that we are trying to please the largest amount of people! I think you`ll find we`ve done our best in these respects. Any suggestions will be considered, but this is a huge amount of people, so please be considerate of them and us in your requests.
Since the Reunion is only a short while away, you can help us immensely by being prompt in returning your sign-up sheets as soon as you can commit and send in your fees as quickly as you can!
The planning for food and space is next to impossible without a commitment from you. I cannot guarantee space if you send your registration in at the last minute. If you live locally, please get in touch, as we could use some help with putting on the show. If there are special circumstances, please take them up with Mitzi Risher-Roth ,or myself, and we will do all we can to help you.
For convenience, we have added PAYPAL to the website, so take advantage of that! We encourage it! HOWEVER, you are still required to send in a REGISTRATION FORM, and fill in the (code) given to you by PAYPAL. If mailing a check, it should be made out to “Choctaw Class of 81 Reunion Committee”. With Regards to the registration form, PLEASE fill out the COMPLETE form.
Married ladies, you have TWO NAMES when it comes to our organizing, so please put both in appropriately, and everyone, please put your significant other`s full name. We need you to fill out your complete legal name, including middle initials, and your birth date (only viewed by the committee.) This is IMPORTANT for finding you in the far future, should you become lost!!! Who knows, you might even get a birthday card!, A second name section is provided for your given name as you`d like it to appear on your badge. BADGES are going to be you and your significant other`s “tickets” to the game, as well as dinners, and the Reunion Gala !!!! Please don`t lose them, as they will be hard, if not impossible to replace!
If it is alright with you, I`d just as soon everyone leave there ties and formal wear at home. You are in Florida, on a barrier island, and you`ll be reliving High School if only for a weekend, let`s have a great time!!!! I`d recommend your fanciest Island shirts, dresses, and whatever makes you comfortable! I can assure you an Island cuisine buffet with awesome choices, tropical drinks, surf boards, sailboats, fish nets and even a tropical parrot or two! To round out the evening, your entertainment is simply the best you can get here in the panhandle!
